The Callington Singers will perform at Lamerton church on 7th November at 7:30pm, a special concert to remember the fallen of the Great War.

The concert is being supported by the Devon Remembers initiative and the Last Post Project

The Devon Heritage service will be providing an exhibition of First World War Recruitment posters and photographs in the church.

There is no admission charge for the concert, but there will be a retiring collection. All profits from the concert will be donated to SSAFA The National Armed Forces Charity
The programme will include the following works:

Greater love Hath no man by John Ireland
Non Nobis Domine by Patrick Doyle (from Branagh’s Henry V)
In Paradisum by Gabriel Faure
Abide With Me arranged by John Cornish
Stille Nacht by Franz Gruber
The Last Post

The remainder of the programme is yet to be confirmed.
