Return to Truro Cathedral

This coming Sunday the Callington Singers will be providing the music for the services of Eucharist and Evensong at Truro Cathedral. We are very pleased to be welcomed to sing here again in such a beautiful setting.

In the morning service the Introit will be ‘He that shall endure to the end’ from the oratorio ‘Elijah’ by Felix Mendelssohn and the Mass will be Mozart’s Missa Brevis No.8 in C minor, the ‘Organ Mass; the anthem will be ‘Hymn to the Virgin’ by Benjamin Britten.

At the evensong service we will be singing the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis by Charles Wood, Preces and Responses by Smith and ‘Te Lucis Anteterminum’ by Henry Balfour Gardiner.

We hope you can join us in Truro, but if not you can hear us sing some of this programme (with additional pieces) on the 23rd July at Stoke Climsland Church. we hope to see you there.
